Providing Just the Food 

Although we are well known as a Full Service Caterer, many customers have been asking us if we can provide “Just the Food?”  Never wanting to rush into a new possibility, we have been researching how we can do this effectively.  We are now ready with perfect packaging to ensure that we can provide the very same high quality food, as we do for our Full Service Catering packages. 

All Food Items will be delivered (or picked up) ready to serve and will be sent hot and/or cold to put out on your buffet line.  Our testing has shown that our food will stay hot up to an hour after delivery.  You will need to provide chafing dishes, tools etc., but your food will be delivered in the right quantity and temperature to serve to your guests.  This will cut costs considerably from Elizabethan Catering Services doing absolutely everything for you.  “Just the Food” will add a unique opportunity to your catering needs, with no reduction in the high quality that we are renowned for.  We are excited!!

 

Weddings

In these times of economical hardship, “Just the Food” will enable you to provide your guests with a high level of food presentation.  You just have to pick your menu, which of course we are able to help you with.  Pick the Date, Time and Number of Guests that are to be fed.  We will arrive with your food, perfectly labeled and ready to serve to your guests.  An extensive checklist will also be provided which will assist you having all the correct tools to present the food, without any chaos, usually associated with a menu like this.  Food containers will be noted “Hot” and “Cold” and will be stacked upon delivery, separated like that.  Each container will be clearly labeled to avoid any confusion.  Each dish will be also clearly labeled also, complete with an ingredient list, to enable your guests with dietary concerns to choose precisely.

Timing is crucially important.  We have an automated system that will be used to communicate with you on the day.  We will be sending you text messages frequently, so you know exactly what is going on, including exactly when we leave the kitchen and when we have arrived at your facility.  This is the one worry that we identified, when talking to potential customers about this service.  You HAVE to know what is going on to give you complete peace of mind. We have mastered that system for you. “Not an ounce of worry!” is the aim!!

All Containers that the food is presented in will be disposable to reduce any cleanup and enable any leftovers to be utilized and not wasted.  Obviously, when dealing with Foodstuffs, there is a strict protocol to ensure that they remain safe for consumption, once the Buffet has finished.  You will be responsible for them, once we have delivered them.  Any items that cannot be refrigerated immediately after service will have to be discarded and not consumed.

Our Online Ordering System is extremely easy to use. All Menu Items are laid out with portion sizes and prices.  You order the quantity for the number of guests that you are expecting. As it is expected that you book this service, prior to you knowing exactly how many guests are coming, we have made this final number flexible. We do expect the final number 7 days prior to the Reception Date. After this date has passed, the numbers can go up but not down. If numbers change 48 hours prior to Event Date, there will be a 50% surcharge. We do expect a 50% Deposit upon booking.  Nothing unreasonable here.

If you are organized, then everything will go like clockwork, as it should. We will coach you and help you to save any unnecessary headaches!

Food for Gatherings

The type of Gatherings that can use the “Just the Food” are endless whether it is a Company Event, a Birthday Party, an Anniversary etc. etc.  Generally, with these type of events, there is a fixed number of guests which are expected.  A tad different to a Wedding, where the numbers of invitees are not known, until a couple of weeks away.  You have a party say for 40, and that is the number of guests for which you order food for. Again, we are more than happy to help you with your choices to avoid any potential for shortages.

As with the Wedding explanation, everything stays the same.  All we need to know is the Date, Time and Number of the Guests and what you would like to serve and we will take care of the rest.  Again, everything is labeled clearly.  Hot and Cold dishes will be stacked separately.  Clear serving instructions will be provided, together with a tool checklist.  Once you have read through the instructions, you will be confident to serve everything perfectly without worry.  Organization is the key.  Smooth and precise is what we aim for and not chaos and disorganized!   Truly important, we will not be late!!

Ready to Eat Meals

This is self explanatory.  Customers will pre-order meals from our Online Shopping Site and will come in to our facility to pick them up.  As they are served in “Family Style” portions, they will be ordered, “Ready to Heat and Eat”.
